About Tefter

What this is

Tefter is a bookmark manager for people who read. A library with tags, notes and lists; a clean reader for every article; short go/ aliases for the places you return to; search that can look for what a page meant, not just the words in its title; and team libraries that live where teams already talk — in Slack.

Since 2018

Tefter has been keeping libraries since April 2018. In 2026 it was rebuilt from the ground up on a simpler foundation — same address, same library. A bookmark saved in 2018 still opens today.

What we hold to

Tefter was described, years ago, as a web shelter — and that is still the aim. No tracking, no ads, zero noise; we don't want you addicted, we want you reading. Your library is yours: export all of it, any time, in formats other tools read. The business is subscriptions, not attention. Fewer features, kept working, over many half-kept — and an interface that behaves like a reading room: quiet, ruled, made for text.

Who makes it

Tefter is made by Dimitris Zorbas and Giorgos Tsiftsis.
